Very 1friendly and helpful staff

Every single dish was made to perfection. Maybe I didn't like the dessert special so much but: 1) Fried Calamari: breaded beautifully, the calamari was juicy and not chewy, the tomato sauce with just the right amount of acidity. 2) Hawaiian Pizza: a bit of a sacrilege to have pineapples on pizza, but you know when you see it - it's homemade, the dough is fresh, the ham amazingly crispy. 3) Striped Bass: Don't ask them to debone it for you for they'll take away the crispy bits which we liked! But the fish was fresh, spinach seasoned perfectly. 4) Fruti di Mare: All the seafood was on point. No fishy smell, linguine was freshly made. No regrets coming here! I'd come here again and again

Perfect experience. We had a group of 8, 4 adults, 4 children. The food was delicious, the wait staff attentive and super accommodating. Highly recommend!!!

Ok - so maybe you’re going to have to wait for your table for possibly an unreasonable amount of time. What’s your hurry?! Go to McD’s then. But if you want excellent Italian fare mid-Cape, Il Montebello is the spot. Not what you’d expect from a golf course club house on the Cape....

By far the best Italian food around, this side of Little Italy in New York. Many special family occasions have been celebrated here. Wonderful staff.

It's one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is excellent (top notch Italian food) and the staff are wonderful and attentive. Everything they make is good from pizza to linguini and clams. They make good drinks, too.

Il Montebello is a sophisticated restaurant with the best tasting pepperoni pizza I have ever had! The crust was not to thin, but crispy and the cheese to sauce ratio is perfection. Not to salty or sweet. Generous amounts of pepperoni slices atop a pizza pie baked with a wonderful crust that is not doughy but thick. The service is excellent and prompt. Thank you Montebello for a great dining experience!

I arrive at this special place many times because I like the good air that is part of this restaurant. The staff is extraordianrillyremarkably attentive and professional. The service is pretty efficient. Needless to say, the food they prepare is first-rate. I frequent often and I was always pleased. The cost is decent. I highly suggest this restaurant to to all.

The staff was so friendly, the food was over the top! I got the chicken special, very tasty the mashed potatoes-so good. My husband got a fish dinner it had a whole lobster, calamari, clams with the best fettuccine. We had mentioned it was our wedding anniversary and the staff surprised us with a song and carrot cake. So wonderful. We will definitely be going back. A+ experience.

Loved it! Best italian seafood.

The food is fabulous but they are severely lacking in customer service . Waited 39 min for drinks and and hour and a half for apps. No one bothered to come over and tell us the kitchen was backed up or the waitress was slammed . Eight of us ended up leaving . They need to stop over booking . Extremely disappointed .

Delicious, that’s how an Italian Foody like myself describes Montebello. They offer homemade Pastas, good wines and great deserts. Add, friendly and superb service, white tablecloth to the food and this restaurant is a must.

Was Leary but now I believe Every thing was great

We ate here as a large party for Christmas Eve dinner. We had all selected a Italian Dish until they came up with the specials. I had rack of lamb which was excellent and it was quite a surprise to get a good portion size of 5-6 ribs instead of just two or three lollipops that I've had at most other restaurants. I'd seen other reviews stating that a dinner is going to take an hour and a half to two and a half hours I find that an accurate assessment.

This restaurant is a bit hard to find, being the clubhouse of sorts in an upscale golfing/retirement community. They have a pleasant bar area and a couple of more formal sit-down dining areas. There are several really good dining options in the area and this one stands out for some really nice menu choices.

Fantastic food! They are very busy and seems like they need more staff but our 45 min wait for a table was worth it.

Some of the absolute best Southern Italian cuisine around! My husband grew up in New York City and he loves the place. The food reminds him of the places in Little Italy in Manhattan.

Went there last evening 12/15/17 - for our 50th Anniversary -- mentioned it will be our 50th Anniversary when I made reservations the week before. Well let me tell you, it was just perfect -- Service - staff- food.Our Waiter ( Dan ) even gave us a complimentary " Lemon Cello " .Our desert was a huge flowered Ice cream with 50th Anniversary written in chocolate sauce .. Class act for sure -- Thank you so much --will return ----

Not only the food was delicious (we ordered frutti di mare), but the people/staff here are the nicest.We lost the wallet and they were able to find it and give it back and they welcome you with a smile. Absolutely recommend it and will be returning.Thank you.

There's a special place in Hades put aside for what the chef did to my $35 steak tonight. I asked for medium, but the beautiful 16+ ounce steak I received was literally raw and cold inside. Not even rare... it was more like tartare aller-retour. I sent it back with instructions that the meat should at least reach safe handling temperatures when presented to guests, and what I got back was an abomination - it had been microwaved instead of putting it back on the grill! A dry, grey funny-smelling piece of rubbery meat wasn't appetizing... thank goodness there was a Taco Bell on the way back to the hotel.
